CHANEL AT COLETTE

Karl Lagerfeld sees the iconic concept space out with a bang.

Have you ever been to Paris’s colette, a dreamy, heaven like space housing the most exclusive high fashion accessories from around the world? Yes this place is like fashion heaven, to some perhaps better described as an actual IRL holy place.

Following the announcement earlier this year that the store will be closing its doors before 2017’s end (sob) Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld, loyal since its arrival in 1997, this month has implemented a first floor takeover. A last hurrah of sorts, if you will.

An exceptional month at the legendary concept store on the rue Saint Honoré, from now until the 25th November fans can hop on over and immerse themselves in an interior inspired by house’s 2017/18 Cruise collection, “The Modernity of Antiquity”. Elsewhere shapes from the AW17 R-T-W line-up can be found on display, as well as pieces from the aforementioned Cruise collection (from 6th November).

Chanel’s Creative Makeup and Colour Designer, Lucia Pica will be hosting beauty discussions, while Wonderbabes Ibeyi – the French-Cuban ensemble beloved by Queen Bey – will be in concert too. A magical celebration like no other, do not miss out!
