Wonderland.

PREMIERE: MAAD – “WONDERLAND” (TAZER REMIX)

The track gets a 90s makeover courtesy of Tazer.

A jack of all trades, singer, songwriter, DJ and model MAAD’s latest track “Wonderland” has been making the right kind of new waves in the music industry recently. The follow-on track from her critically acclaimed debut EP “Lé Funk”, “Wonderland” is a soulful, pop synth filled track about being entranced by love – and was just calling out to be remixed by someone looking to take advantage of the 90s inspired vocals.

Enter Tazer, best known for his single “Wet Dollars” with fellow R&B songstress, Tink. The DJ/producer has created a house-tinged, fun-filled dancefloor anthem, reminiscent of many 90s/early 2000s electronic reworks, such as 99 Souls’ “The Girl is Mine”, or one of the many “Show Me Love” remixes on repeat in clubs across the country. Making MAAD’s newest release sound classic 90s, Tazer proves it to be an instant and enduring dancefloor hit.

With the original already climbing past 100,000 streams in just a month (!), we predict the official remix won’t follow too far behind. Having already collaborated with the likes of A$AP Ferg and big-name producers such as Bizness Boi (PartyNextDoor, 6LACK) and The Stereotypes (Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber), MAAD is certainly not one to sleep on in the coming year. Check out the remix below.
