An open-air market in Naples. The golden light of the Mediterranean sun. Street performers and vendors jostling with families enjoying delicious Italian food in a cheerful and festive atmosphere. In the midst of this clichéd scene, Emilia Clarke – a.k.a. Daenerys Targaryen off of that Game of Thrones – cheerfully dances and laughs while wearing D&G’s new flowery eau de toilette: this is filmmaker Mattero Garrone’s vision for The One.
Created by perfumer Michel Girard, the scent boasts hints of lily, Italian bergamot, mandarin essences, silky lychee and luscious white peach, all wrapped up with sensual vanilla and orange blossom to create a sumptuous sensorial experience. A new edition of the perfume by the same name, the recipe here is presented in a revamped version of the original bottle: taller and covered with a geometrical gold cap.
