FRAME PRESENTS BRUCE WEBER

The pair team up for a truly great denim interpretation.

If there are two institutions more American than jeans and Bruce Weber – in their respective fields, obviously – then can someone give us a call please?

Perhaps one of the most democratic garments of both the 20th and 21st century, the former is favoured likewise by your niece’s BFF and your idol, be they Kate Moss, Riri or a Kardashian, while the latter is responsible for some of the fashion industry (and indeed contemporary culture’s) most prolific imagery.

It’s little coincidence then, that denim label Frame (a key part of the Wonderland shop line-up) has tapped the iconic lensman for an exciting new project: “no season, no deadline, no perimeters”.

The product of “old school” logistics, founders Erik Tortensson and Jens Grede – whose love of fashion photography Weber’s work can claim a stake – simply sent the photographer a box of denim with the only request that he return his own interpretation, his point of view on denim today, if you will.

The results, pictured here, are pretty great.
