The evolution of men’s and women’s collections being shown together has caused much of a stir within the fashion industry – not least for the respective editors whose calendars are transforming season upon season – but for the brands too, remaining relevant when you don’t have the license (read: zero clothes on the catwalk) to introduce a hashtag is a problem not suffered by the designers of old.

One of the first brands to unite the sexes in this way, Dsquared2’s Dean and Dan solved the latter by throwing a party to celebrate the arrival of Milan Fashion Week with #D2GETHER. Replacing their traditional catwalk slot with a rave at Italy’s VOLT, the pair welcomed former Wonderland cover star Bella Hadid and sister Gigi, while elsewhere the guestlist included Aida Domenech, Eleonora Carisi, Giulio Berruti and Alessandro Enriquez; entertaining with an upbeat mix of deep house, DJ Black Coffee was disc jocket for the evening’s festivities.
