Wayde – "Easy (Don't Be Long)"

Essex four-piece, Wayde, release the new video for track “Easy (Don’t Be Long)”.

Gearing up to release their new EP “Lucky Aide”, Wayde have just dropped the video for their brilliant single “Easy (Don’t Be Long)”. Following their debut track “Eleanor”, the band have delivered yet another fantastic song. Combining shoegaze and psych-infused grunge, “Easy (Don’t Be Long)” has melodic vocals over crashing guitar, and is effortlessly cool. Accompanied by a video full of psychedelic colours and trippy video clips, it perfectly shows off the band’s chilled and grungy vibe.

Full of infectious hooks and captivating sounds, Wayde’s forthcoming EP, set to be released on the 3rd of March, is set for great things. Tackling themes associated with becoming an adult, bassist Miles Shawyer spoke about the EP, saying, “There’s no consciously imprinted themes on the EP, however the songs were all written in a period when we were about to finish university and the anticipation of having to become real people and getting jobs was looming. So there’s an almost entirely unintentional coming of age/fear of adulthood theme running throughout the EP.”
