MFW: Cottweiler AW17

Cottweiler steps into the great outdoors for their AW17 collection.

Camping just got cool

Cottweiler’s Autumn/Winter 2017 collection was marched down catwalks earlier this month and somehow, they’re making waterproofs fashionable. Envisage just out of the shower damp hair, chunky pendant necklaces and what will surely become the ultimate accessory of the latter half of the year – the humble sleeping bag. Designers, Ben Cottrell and Matthew Dainty’s show gives a nod to the great outdoors, pushing comfort and practicality without losing style. Nature calls.

Purple rain

Featuring tracksuits and puffer jackets in shades of lilac and indigo, Cottweiler used various shades of purple to break away from the understated black and green dominating the show. From super soft suits to shiny anoraks, this pop of colour looks amazing in any and every material. Colour blocking is a sure-fire way to catch attention or follow the lead of Cottrell and Dainty by layering over bare chests.

Fringing fantasy

Cottweiler’s fringed trousers and sleeves give our arms and legs the furry volume we never thought we needed. In classic all black or featuring our favourite purple highlights, these textured beauties are sure to keep you toasty and still looking your best.
