Tiffany & Co.'s "Through the Whitney Biennial Lens"

Tiffany & Co. release their second episode of their “New Ways Of Seeing” series, that profiles some of the art world’s most provocative figures.

The Whitney Biennial is one of America’s greatest art events, and for Tiffany & Co.’s latest installment of their “New Way of Seeing” Series, they’ve enlisted the help of four past Whitney Biennial artists – Miranda July, Edgar Arceneaux, Amanda Ross-Ho and Catherine Opie – to discuss the significance of being selected for the longest running survey of contemporary art in America, and how it helped launch their careers into the stratosphere.

In this episode, writer, filmmaker and two-time Biennial artist Miranda July talks to her fellow Biennial artists as they create their work, and talks directly to us (while dressed up as Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, the founder of the Biennial) about the event. Observing the shared sense of inclusion in a bigger artistic community and conversation that the prestigious exhibition provokes, Tiffany & Co.’s latest video gives insight to the world of the Whitney Biennial.
