The inimitable Saint Laurent has teamed up with founder of 25 Magazine, Anja Rubik for their newest campaign, which was unveiled this September. The campaign by Anthony Vaccarello sees the model standing in as the new face of the house, representing the new Saint Laurent woman, who will grace Parisian billboards from September 28 with an outdoor campaign.
Behind the lens is the iconic duo and longtime collaborators of Rubik, Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, who have shot a romantic ode to Paris. The campaign displays a mysterious and hedonistic woman, who floats through YSL’s hometown elusively, her hair hiding her face. Inez and Vinoodh have also produced a video with Anja that debuts on September 27 through the brand’s website and social media pages.
The campaign portrays the beauty of Paris, while exposing a glimpse of the new Saint Laurent wardrobe. The fashion house references their heritage with juxtaposing leather, jewels and lace, radiating femininity through subtle, sultry details.
