Carly Rae Jepson – “Higher”

Carly Rae Jepsen has shared E•MO•TION: Side B, not that you’ve done anything to deserve it. Containing 8 previously unreleased cuts, the EP is a majestic collection of pop tracks. Carly’s appeal comes from that winning combination of earnestness and archness – boundless enthusiasm coupled with a been there, done that attitude. We could have picked any song but “Higher” is a real treat. The queen of alt-pop, long may she reign.

Amber Mark – “Way Back”

Taken from her debut EP “3:33AM”, “Way Back” is the new track from Amber Mark. A hopeful and uplifting jam, “Way Back” showcases the remarkable depth to Mark’s writing. Turning to music for strength and a way to express herself, the EP was written as a tribute to her late mother.

James Hersey – “Miss You”

Austrian born, Berlin-based performer James Hersey has released his debit single “Miss You”. Co-produced by James alongside Ed Sheeran collaborator Will Hicks, the track is a dreamy nod to dance – his delicate vocal mixing perfectly with stabs of tropical synths. “Miss You” is out now.

Dua Lipa – “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)”

Dua Lipa is becoming a popstar the old fashioned way by releasing a sting of incredible singles. The latest of which is the typically brilliant “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)”. With a kiss-you-off refrain and uncompromising attitude, it’s another reminder as to why the world is getting so excited about Dua Lipa. Dua’s highly anticipated self-titled debut album will be released on 10 February 2017.

NAKED – “Anomie”

NAKED, comprised of Agnes Gryczkowska and Alexander Johnston, has shared “Anomie” – their brutalist take on pop. Distorted and disorientating, “Anomie” illustrates exactly why this duo is so exciting. Their debut album ZONE is released on 30 September via LuckyMe. NAKED play Electrowerkz on 30 August, supported by HEX and YAYOYANOH.

Amber-Simone – “Body Talk”

The guitar-laden ”Body Talk” is the latest single from the Amber-Simone. Forging her own path, she blends R&B and soul with future-facing electronica. Amber-Simone is a captivating vocalist with androgynous vocal tone that won’t be bettered. ”Body Talk” has a seductive vibe, luring you into a world you won’t want to escape from.

Harper – “Skin”

Harper has been building a steady-buzz which is set to explode with new single “Skin”. Drawing on her experience as a young woman in the still male-dominated music industry, the track is built around a supremely catchy hook and a throbbing beat. Harper said: “Skin is an earthy, raw, alt-pop record with a much deeper concept than you may perceive from first impressions…”

Moses Sumney – “Worth It”

Moses Sumney, who electrified 2015 with his Terrible Records 7” release and cover of Laurie Anderson’s “O Superman”, has releasd his first official music video. Directed by Allie Avital, the video is starkly beautiful – a portrait of an artist who can connect in ways few others can. Moses also announced shows in London and Los Angeles including two nights at St. Pancras Old Church on 20 and 26 November.

Charlotte OC – “Blackout”

British artist Charlotte OC returns with “Blackout”- a taste of her first new music since her breakout EP “Colour My Heart”. A commanding presence, Charlotte OC is a voice that can’t be ignored. The accompanying visuals were directed by Kate Bones.

Romare – “Who Loves You?”

Never content to tread water, Romare has shared his latest single “Who Loves You?”. A departure from his debut LP Projections which took samples from jazz and blues, his new material has it eyes firmly on the door floor with sonic cues lifted from disco. “Who Loves You?” is lifted from Love Songs: Part Two which drops on 11 November via Ninja Tune.

Jeremih – “London” ft. Stefflon Don and Krept & Konan

Following its surprise unveiling in July, Jeremih’s mixtape Late Nights: Europe has now been given an official release. Featuring Stefflon Don and Krept & Konan, official single “London” has everyone bringing their A-game. Each track on is named after a different location he visited on the tour, and continues Jeremih’s Late Night series that which included the critically acclaimed Late Nights: The Album.

Tiggs Da Author – “Swear Down” feat. Yungen

Tiggs Da Author is back with a standout single to extend your summer. ‘Swear Down’ featuring grime star Yungen, is instantly recognisable, and the chorus is built on a half time beat with an irresistibly catchy hook. Tiggs has had four huge syncs with his previous single ‘Run’. It had its debut on Later With Jools late last year, and was also included on FIFA 16, was the soundbed for ITV’s 2015 Rugby World Cup trailer, and was included as part of the soundtrack for Bridget Jones Baby, of which it featured in the official trailer. It is currently being featured on a David Beckham Sky Sports ad.  This new (part lyric) video demonstrates what an incredible live performer Tiggs is, and how big audiences are growing!
