Let indie-pop musician Hazel English transport you to lush California with her brand new track “I’m Fine”. The song is off her debut 12-inch vinyl EP titled “Never Going Home”, which contains old favourites like “It’s Not Real” and “Never Going Home”, which have a million listens in between them.

Hazel describes the song saying, “I wrote “I’m Fine” about dealing with anxiety. It’s about struggling with something nobody else can see and trying to act like everything is fine when it’s really not.

“I’m Fine” is held together beautifully by melodic and emotional strums of guitar, accompanied by sweet electronica sounds. Bittersweet is the perfect way to describe this track, as we can hear the pain in Hazel’s voice while still sounding wonderfully honey-coated. Take a listen and feel the sun beaming down on you as you’re suddenly transported to the glorious poolside with an ice cream in hand.
