You can think of as many (un)funny tag lines as you want, but advertising is all about the visuals. For their 25th anniversary, Visionaire magazine unite with artists to invent their own promotional tools: commercials each inspired by a different issue.
Lasting between 15 seconds and 4 minutes, the shorts are on display in NYC at The Gallery at Cadillac House until the end of August. Encapsulating the entire archive, pieces range from issue 13’s Seven Deadly Sins, interpreted by Director Amanda Demme starring Juliette Lewis. Issue 26’s Fantasy theme is taken on by Alice Rosati and Charlie Le Mindu, featuring Dior couture, contortionists and blue full body paint. A stroke of genius, Ivan Olita montages Leonardo DiCaprio eating and drinking across all his works in tribute to issue 47: Taste. Bella Hadid gets personal in front of Tyler Ford’s lens for issue 52: Private.
