This issue’s Rollacoaster cover babe, rapper, diva and cosmetics queen, Brooke Candy, has just dropped her latest video – and you’re gonna want to see it. “Changes”, a cut taken from Brooke’s upcoming debut album, features Jack Antonoff (the lead singer and songwriter from Bleachers) and has been given the full video treatment by the legendary Steven Klein. It’s crazy, creepy and ever so Candy: think dripping mascara, pale face, and a hint of Marilyn Manson gothic.
It’s no surprise that Brooke’s cosmetics game is on point given that she recently collaborated once again with MAC for a full capsule collection that features everything from dramatically coloured lipsticks to deep purple nail polishes. When we spoke to Brooke in Rollacoaster, she told us, “I’ve always been a huge fan of MAC. They aren’t afraid to take risks. They gave me the freedom to fully design this collaboration. They embraced my unique point of view.” Well, if Brooke’s vision looks this interesting, that’s something we can all get on board with.
