Queen Bey and Sir Philip Green Present Ivy Park

What have you always needed in your life but didn’t realise until now? Beyoncé Athleisure-wear.

Ah, Queen Bey. Queen Bey of Everything. The world’s reigning diva has let slip about another side project today. Ivy Park, a new activewear brand has been cooked up between the singer and Sir Philip Green, head honcho at Topshop.

But this isn’t just another celebrity collab, oh no. In a statement released today, Beyoncé has specified the result of the partnership is a “stand-alone brand.” All we’ve seen so far is the campaign image in which Bey stars, wearing a black and white bodysuit brandishing the brand’s name. She went on to explain that “work out clothes” dominated her wardrobe due to her busy lifestyle but found the options available uninspiring. Bey stated her goal with Ivy Park is to “push the boundaries of the athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance.”

Sir Philip Green explained that the project has been in the works for 18 months and believes, “this is just the beginning” of their partnership. We await eagerly at the desktop, credit card in hand, for when the full collection drops 14th April.
