City hopping just got chicer with LV’s City Guides. We’re already awaiting the app and accompanying electronic accessories.

Louis Vuitton have been producing unique guides to some of the world’s best cities since 1998 – always full of hard-to-find spots, secret addresses and full of the brand’s stylish take on travel. This year, as well as adding four more locales to their collection (Bangkok, Chicago, Prague and Rome), they’re also releasing an app, so you can access the guide’s guest contributions, restaurant recommendations and event suggestions all at the touch of a screen.

To celebrate their app, they’ve also released a range of leather iPhone and iPad cases in their iconic monogram pattern: interiors come in four colours inspired by Paris (blue), Rome (yellow), Beijing (red) and Tokyo (pink). Fifteen of the guides have been made available in a new lacquered wood, limited edition boxset that includes all fifteen books and would look great as a coffee-table piece or shelf decoration. These lushly rendered print editions also show off the new photography contributions Louis Vuitton commissioned from Tendance Floue – an experimental photography collective – which offer a fresh visual perspective on the cities.
