ASHLEY WILLIAMS × ICA

Ashley Williams and a load of other exciting creatives are putting on a must-see installation this week in Birmingham

Rebellious designer Ashley Williams – whose SS16 show was all about “Bad Mood” and had fly prints swarming all over it – is showing an installation in collaboration with the Institute of Contemporary Arts in Birmingham this week. Joining her will be Fergadelic, the king of sub-cultural graphics who has worked extensively with Palace, visual artists and videographers Tim and Barry (who’ve, incidentally, collaborated with ultra-cool streetwear brand Cav. Empt.).

As if that wasn’t enough to get you excited, Just Jam are presenting a host of up-and-coming musicians about to hit the big time, including Barely Legal, Crack Stevens and the enigmatic Tsunga. If you’re in Birmingham this weekend, there’s no excuse not to poke your head in and have a look at some of the freshest, most subversive creatives working today.
