Cheltenham six piece Young Kato take us on a night ride with our exclusive premiere of their video for ‘Runaway’.

You might have noticed that we’re partial to a bit of pop here at Wonderland. Katy Perry on the cover was probably a bit of a giveaway. Our latest pick to add to your playlist are a homegrown six piece from Cheltenham, Young Kato. They’ve been doing the rounds for a little while and making an appearance on Made In Chelsea and touring with the likes of teen dreams 5 Seconds of Summer, has put them very firmly into the pop partition.

“Runaway”, the second track from their debut album Don’t Wait ‘Til Tomorrow is a radio-friendly banger with a dance-ready tempo and uplifting lyrics just begging to be done karaoke style. The video sees two young girls taking on the title and going on an adventure down dark dual carriageways. Things take a slightly more sinister turn around the halfway mark but you’ll be tapping along in time until the last second regardless.
