17-year-old newcomer Tayá teaches us how to make an entrance with her debut track, ‘Got Me Wondering’, produced by Toddla T.

Liverpool new girl Tayá might only be 17 but she’s already got some of our favourite names behind her right now. Having worked with Brit producers Snakehips and Starsmith at home and T-Minus (the guy behind Kendrick’s “Swimming Pools”) over in the US, she’s off to an impressive start. Honey-toned vocals and confident controls, it’s no surprise everyone’s clamouring to collaborate with Tayá left, right and centre.

A montage of colour saturated clips, blurred at the edges in Lana Del Rey’s favoured style, you could get lost looping the video for “Got Me Wondering” endlessly, while you sway to the swells of synths. Toddla T’s production gives the depth and signature R&B seduction to the track, but we can’t to see Tayá perform at the first chance we get after hearing her live vocals were what got her signed.
