For one night and one night only, Miu Miu present Miu Miu Club in celebration of their first fragrance.

Saturday night saw a one-night-only intervention in the 1937 Palais d’Iena in the 16th arrondissement of Paris – Miu Miu Club. In celebration of their very first fragrance and their 2016 Croisière collection, Miu Miu threw one hell of a party that took inspiration from the rich tradition and dark evocation of Parisian nightlife. Think exquisite cocktails, a decadent dinner, musical features (including guest appearances by long-time Miu Miu collaborator sound artist Frederic Sanchez, tech house DJ Craig Richards, American DJ and producer Seth Troxler, and Dutch DJ Cass) and of course, a killer show.

From gold textured leather outerwear and yellow and black caution stripes, to red and blue candy-lane stripes laid upon denim and fine knit cropped jumpers layered over loose shirts and PVC “Miu Miu Club” skirts – the collection was decadent, excessive, it was a mash up of all things Miu Miu. Accessories came in the shape of patchwork fur stoles hung over one shoulder and bags hung from metal chains, but it was the boots that stole the show. Served in vibrant shades of bubblegum pink, bold turquoise, ruby red and metallic gold, the Western style boots came emblazoned with the words “Miu Miu”, with some birds and cats patched on for good measure.
