Formal menswear as you’ve never seen it before, Philipp Plein transforms the suit in a dramatic car crash affair.

Not one to do things simply, Plein put on quite the show for the audience of his SS16 menswear collection, it was most certainly fast and boy was it furious. There was an epic car race and vehicles were given a makeover with gold and silver. Biker jackets with studs and super skinny pants, this collection is for the man that wants to make a loud entrance. Tailored pieces were given a punk takeover with zips, patchwork and padded shoulders, channelling an 80s power suit in vibrant, look at me reds and graffiti.

In need of a new leather? Plein sent the futuristic one with biker studs down his runway with super cool Top Gun style sunnies. We want said jacket in silver, red and black – okay we want them all! Lucky Blue Smith opened the show and Tyga played “Rack City” and if that’s not a match made in heaven we don’t know what is.
