A celebration of all things British, Hackett AW15 introduced a custom fabric paying homage to Britain’s fine selection of wools.

What?

With a collection name that reads ‘Sheep, Shape and London Fashion’, it was clear from the offset that Aw15 is a tribute to the longstanding textile mills in Britain that churn out some the finest wools in the world. In a twelve piece collection we saw varying checks and pinstripes, textured knits, heavy sheepskin outerwear, ‘H’ neckwear and military style details, along with Hackett’s very own fabric (born from Jeremy Hackett’s own flock of Wensleydale sheep) seen in the final three-piece suit look.

Who?

The AW15 Hackett men were polished and preened with chiseled cheek bones. There were no complaints with the casting with Ed Wilding in the line up (clad in a cream cable knit jumper and caramel suede) and Jeremy Hackett’s dog even made a cameo – too cute.

Where?

Sat in the regal surroundings of Temple Place, the Hackett guests were seated at candle lit tables to watch a film by Jam Flicks ahead of the presentation, whilst post-presentation a three course dinner was in order, complete with a rhubarb Eton mess – to die for.

Want?

Jeremy’s pooch, but we don’t think he’s going to hand him over. So in that case we’ll settle for the toffee-hued suede and cream shearling coat.
