ROW NYC

It’s a sin to sleep in the Big Apple, but we’re not going to Row NYC just for the beds.

Times Square feels like the centre of the universe. It’s loud and bright and alive and epitomises New York City and right on the square is Row NYC. Here at Wonderland we love to visit the city that never sleeps and we know importance of having somewhere perfect to rest your head whenever you can fit in a couple of hours of shut-eye, whether it’s after watching a gig in Brooklyn or partying in the Meatpacking District.

Slip into a sanctuary through the 24 foot high crystalline entrance at Row NYC. Art feeds throughout the whole building, with light sculptures by Yorgo Alexopoulos in the reception and all of the hotel’s public spaces designed by Gabellini Shephard Associates, who have delivered grandeur, “The bold aesthetic speaks to the area’s unbridled spirit and engages the excitement and energy that is Times Square,” said Michael Gabellini, Partner, the design celebrates everything the city has to offer.

That includes the vast mesh of cultures residing in NY, influencing the culinary treats on offer including European style breakfasts in the District M bar in the mornings as well as hand-picked cheese selections in the evenings, Neapolitan style pizzas and speciality cocktails. Travel back in time without moving a muscle by watching the digital art gallery situated in District M by Ron Galella the “Godfather of the U.S. paparazzi culture” according to Time magazine and take in the images of the hedonistic heyday of New York, with previously never before seen images.

Another exclusive on offer is City Kitchen set to open in 2015, a whole food market right within the hotel, so when city life gets just a bit too hectic, you can still take in what’s available without having to battle through crowds in any weather. You can even talk a walking tour – of sorts – of Manhattan by taking a trip to the upper floors and taking in the stunning photography of the city.
