Wonderland presents Reiss: ‘The Poetics of Space’, a film that captures the transitioning moments of memory and the possibilities of a relationship between a man and a woman
If only all relationships could be as chic as this one. Shot in beautiful black and white, Reiss: The Poetics of Space takes aesthetic and ideological inspiration from the French New Wave film movement of the ’60s – cinematic beauty at its very best. Through a hyperlapsed collection of visuals, disjointed sounds and French dialogue, the film reflects memories of what may or may not have been for the couple. Ultimately, however, it is up to the viewer to perceive the relationship, whilst the exquisite craftsmanship and beauty of Reiss‘ AW14 mens and womenswear resides throughout.
