The Mulberry garden

Taking inspiration from the classic English country garden, Mulberry SS15 is a breath of fresh air, surrounded by British blooms and floral fancies. Whilst gardeners’ attire may not sound like the most fashion savvy, Mulberry have taken the idea of practical pockets and utilitarian shapes and translated them into a collection which screams contemporary cool. The SS15 Mulberry girl is ready for whatever the British spring weather throws at her, come rain or shine she’s looking chic, whether it be in gardening clog inspired sandals carved from solid wood with criss-crossed leather straps or in a pair of Mulberry Garden Wellie’s featuring the wild flower design, woven into a rich metallic jacquard.

The details

From laser-cut leather, to hand-sketched flower prints, monochromatic printed lace, luxurious lurex and textured knits, this season it’s all in the details. With a colour palette taking inspiration from cornflowers and other English garden mainstays, black, white and earthy Khaki’s all make an appearance.

The Delphie Duo

Named after the delphinium flower, the SS15 must have accessory comes in the shape of the Delphie Duo Bag. Practical and attractive in equal measure, the elegant piece comes with a shoulder strap in either leather or a new flat chain design. Also featuring a new Mulberry addition – woven letter, inspired by the uniform structure of garden trellis – the bag mirrors the weaving methods used throughout Mulberry’s history, most famously on their early belts.
