SUPRA UK TOUR CLOSES

Following their jam packed month long UK residency, SUPRA took to the Ace Hotel for a party with Patrón Tequila0clip_image002

Following their jam packed month long UK residency, in which they visited key cities around the country for a trip of street skating, demos and parties, leading skate brand SUPRA culminated their visit with a closing demo in partnership with Slam City Skates yesterday at the Frontside Gardens Skate Park in Hackney Wick. Supporting the longevity of the Frontside project and its legacy within the local community, the event saw legendary skate boarder Chad Muska and founder Andrew Willis, create a bespoke obstacle that has now become a permanent fixture of the park. Chad lent his artistic talent to the park, letting his creativity run wild with a temporary wall design that was revealed at the demo.

Of course no skate tour is complete without one hell of a party, so last night saw SUPRA take to the rooftop of the Ace Hotel for a knees up, sponsored by Patrón Tequila. The NTS DJs, Funkineven, Martelo and You’ll Soon Know took to the decks with the SUPRA skate teams own Kevin Romar, whilst crowds gathered to party with the pro riders. With a string of influential skateboarding figures in attendance along with Odd Future, Nick Grimshaw and Lucien Clarke amongst others, of course the event was a success.
