Paul Smith shoes return to LC:M with the spectrum of the rainbow. Twenty-one pairs of shoes, each in a different shade nodding to the SS15 men’s catwalk collection

In keeping with Paul Smith tradition, for the brands SS15 showcase, a classic four-eyelet Oxford shoe has been reinvented adopting the spectrum of the rainbow. With twenty-one pairs of the same shoe showcased, each presents us with a different shade, texture or two-tone ensemble nodding to the palette of the SS15 men’s catwalk collection, also featuring a digitally printed leather sole as a reference to the new season men’s collection set to debut in Paris June 29th.

Made in Italy, the uppers on the shoes vary from colour to colour, whilst some feature a contrasting suede toe-cap in a complimentary hue. Our favourite pair? The duck egg blue suede edition, worthy of an Elvis song or two. What’s more, the same shoe is also presented in women’s sizes in shades corresponding to the mens, demonstrating Paul Smith’s timeless unisex edge.

As Paul explains: “I’m very happy to be presenting my SS15 shoe collection at LC:M. Featuring both men’s and women’s Oxford shoes, the presentation demonstrates my love of simplicity and androgyny in women’s style.”
