Marking their fourth location in Bangkok, Prada have opened a store in the Thai city’s prestigious Central Embassy mall

In collaboration with Italian architect Roberto Baciocchi, Prada have opened a new store in Bangkok’s Central Embassy mall. Initially catching ones eye with a visually striking façade that pays homage to artist Carlos Cruz Diez, one of the leaders of the kinetic art movement, the eleven metre tall backlit aluminium blades finished in gold and steel, create a striking visual montage both by day and by night.

In keeping with the traditional Prada aesthetic, the interior is built up of a combination of signature black and white-checquered marble, saffiano leather, polished steel and green fabrics and the 560 square-metre offering extends over two floors. Stocking both women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods accessories and footwear, the new store offers a specialised shopping space for Prada’s most exigent clients.
