PLAYLIST: SUNCéBEAT 5

We chart the sounds of SuncéBeat, from David Morales to Osunlade, ahead of the fifth instalment of the Croatian festival this July

SuncéBeat Festival - Beach Stage

Taking to the Croatian sands for the fifth time, sister festival to Southport Weekender – SuncéBeat, offers an eclectic line up of urban, dance and underground music. A sparkling gem in the Croatian festival scene, SuncéBeat brings the likes of Osunlade, Boo Williams, Glenn Underground Lonnie Liston Smith, Culoe De Song and Julian Gnomes to the Dalmatian coast for a non-stop seven day party. With David Morales also confirmed to play a tribute to the Godfather of House, Frankie Knuckles, this year is shaping up to be, quite possibly, the best instalment of SuncéBeat yet – there’s proof in the playlist.

However, if the on-sand-music-action is not quite enough for you, why not whet your appetite further with one of the SuncéBeat Boat Parties, departing twice daily to take you to a secret party island in a mysterious location out at sea. From the Kaoz Picnic Boat Party headed up by house-heavyweight Keri Chandler, to the Altered States Boat Party sailed by Ron Trent, there’s something for every fine tuned musical palette, just be sure to be back on mainland by 6pm when the real party starts.

Located at The Garden, Tisno the festival site includes a festival village with apartments, Glastonbury style ‘Podpads’ and luxury Shikar tent camping for all your accommodation requirements and full festival packages are available from Love Music Travel. If for some reason you still need convincing that this is your go-to for dancing on the sands until the sun goes down, check out this video of last year’s Roller Boogie Boat Party…

Festival tickets cost £125 whilst Boat Party tickets start at £20 and go on sale at 1pm today.
