A.P.C and Carhartt WIP launch their final capsule collection
For the last three years A.P.C and Carhartt have been delivering capsule releases that embody the mutual well-crafted simplicity of the two lines. Unlike many a collaborations, the collection was not a ploy for press or marketing scheme, rather a natural meeting of the minds with A.P.C’s Jean Touitou and Carhartt’s Arnaud Faeh.
The capsules pieces include vamped Carhartt classics that simultaneously use quintessential A.P.C fabrics and style making the garments truly seamless. Our favorites include a watch named after Jimi Hendrix’s “If Six was Nine” after its disarranged numbers on the face and a blueprint of Touitou’s personal boat on the back. We also love the classic A.P.C. logo tee with the substituted Carhartt C.
As we all know, all good things must come to an end, and all the best leave in the heat of their moment. This will be the last of the A.P.C + Carhartt capsules, but we can expect much more from the individual brands in the future! The capsule launches worldwide in A.P.C. and Carhartt stores as well as a selection of multi-brand stores worldwide in late October 2013 and will be the last of the collaboration, for now!
