British staple Paul Smith is bridging London with a new series of photographic work by London based artist Walter Hugo at the No. 9 Albemarle Street shop.

The exhibition will bring together two of Hugo’s major series’ of works that have never been shown in their entirety, featuring Reflecting the Bright Lights—a collection of portraits of subjects in the arts including Eddie Redmayne, Alice Dellal,
Carson McColl,Polly Stenham, Maia Norman, and Jaime Winston. This will run alongside The Nature of Interdependence a 10 piece series of saeascapes displaying the shores of Britain. The series will be available for purchase, but only as a full series.

Paul Smith and Walter Hugo were introduced to each other in April 2013 and they have been working together since. Their shared passion for photography was the catalyst for this exhibition at Albemarle Street. The exhibition, titled We Are An Island opened to the public yesterday just in time to coincide with the Frieze Art Fair London.
