London Fashion Week is here! Princess Julia gives us a London Fashion week preview from some of her most loved designers.

As fashion week is fast approaching we sent the fabulous, Princess Julia, down to some of her favourite designer’s studios to get an insight into their S/S 2014 collections. Today Julia heads over to see ‘Miss Funky Offish’ – Ashley Williams.

Ahead of London Fashion Week our girl Ashley Williams is keeping her cards close to her chest when quizzed about her forthcoming S/S 2014 collection. ‘That’s top secret info’, she teases but gives us with a clue to it’s title, ‘Dream ‘something’, the second word gives it away’, she says, ‘so that can not be shared just yet’. But we do know she has been inspired by 80’s movie soundtracks. You got to love her!

Her signature style is bold and bright, gorge prints, splashes of colour and texture. Looking major on popstars, (Riri and Rita are fans) and us, the girls next door, the Ashley Williams girl is ‘A Funkyoffish girl’, she likes  ‘boys, shoes and lipstick’, and  lets face facts she’s got an attitude that makes you look twice.

Being part of the Fashion East platform she’s more than blown away by the publics reaction, ‘Yeah deffs! It’s all quite shocking’, she genuinely enthuses, but who wouldn’t want to wear that fabulous ‘Elvis’ dress from last season, those snazzy emblazoned capri pants or that powder blue fun fur ensemble? I would which just goes to show you can be ‘funkyoffish’ at any age! Miss Williams is our kind of girl, focused, fun and inventive, she’s carving out a fierce career and living a creative life to the edge, her words of wisdom?  ‘Don’t waste your life! YOLO!’
