Prepare the cashmere! As we anticipate the J.Crew flagship launch this November, the high-end prep brand reveals two more store launches are in the mix.
Rich houndstooth, rough tweeds, shiny pleats and of course, cashmere, will deck the rails of J. Crew’s highly anticipated London flagship store. Launching on Regent Street November 1st, the flagship will house the major pieces of the luxury prep brand’s autumn/winter collection, with wannabe posh-ers dashing madly between one knit jumper and the next.
But J. Crew offers much more than the typical retail, and instead of cramming its manifold industry into the confines of Regent Street, the cashmere king label will open two more stores in our fair London-town, one specialising in menswear and the other comprising of the women’s collections.
Opening the 10th of October, the menswear store, dubbed 38 Lamb’s Conduit, is an old converted townhouse that will primarily house shirting and tailoring, such as the brand’s infamous Ludlow Suiting, as well as typical lad’s necessities including monogramming, customised stitching and buttoning, and complimentary delivery.
The women’s boutique, opening in early November in chi-chi Brompton Cross, will house limited-edition collections, an assortment of Italian cashmere, jewellery, bags and shoes, and (deep breath) a range of exclusive partnership pieces including Comme des Garcons, Penelope Chilvers and milliner extraordinaire Patricia Underwood.
While the store images are still under wraps, our imagination is brimming with blazer bumping, jumper swag excitement.
