In this edition of Brand Buzz, we talk two-tone with Miu Miu’s new Madras bags.

For those of us who get a tad overwhelmed by matching punchy outfits with accessories, Miu Miu’s new collection is a godsend. The label combined the lightness of summer with canvassed colours of the autumn/winter collections to create the very sophisticated Miu Miu Two-Tone Madras bag collection, allowing for multiple options with little effort.

The Madras bags are made from sculpted and resilient Madras leather, and have incorporated understated elements of Miu Miu, including the simple lock clasp with twin buttons, as well as a chic, hardware chain-link strap.

The highlight of the bags, of course, is the two-tone. The leather straps and top of the bags are the deep, velvety colours present in AW13, while the bag structure is characterised by paired-down, summery tones, creating a look that’s chic, fashionable and surprisingly versatile.

The Pre-AW13 Miu Miu Madras collection will be available in all Miu Miu boutiques from the 15th of June.
