Along with Barbarella attitude, shaggy fringe, psychedelic designs and thigh-high boots made for a Nancy Sinatra comeback stomped down Emilio Pucci’s AW’13 runway during Milan Fashion Week. Think Jane Birkin supping on summer wine while lounging on luxe shag carpet. Lusting yet? Yeah, we thought you’d be.

From the first look, a crystal-encrusted top with an abstracted mini skirt, to a monochrome inkblot patterned cape with a high fur collar, to a black and gold tight mini dress, the theme of the evening was mini skirts and youthful glamour. And lest we forget the cutout dress worn by a fringe-sporting Cara Delevingne, this collection combined modern cuts and fabrics with classic sex kitten sensuality. So while we’re admirers of futuristic androgyny, sometimes we just need a good dose of old-fashioned sex appeal.
