Louis Vuitton went to the top of the world for a luxurious collection that celebrated the Vuitton love for travel. Check out our backstage photos here.
Between Louis Vuitton in Paris and the Topman Design show in London, it seems there’s a distinctly alpine chill in the air for men’s fashion – but while Topman featured rough-and-ready adventurers in puffed-up neon parkas, Vuitton opted for a much more sophisticated and autumnal take on the gentleman explorer.
With a Himalayan mountain as the backdrop, models trotted over a shined runway wearing elegant smoking jackets, tuxedos and trenches, with a sprinkle of animal print and a leopard emblem designed by Jake and Dinos Chapman, the enfant terribles of the British art world. Best of all? The accessories, like the flat-brow goggle sunglasses and the luxurious leather backpacks, mountain-climber clamps and all.
