With his zombie-romcom film Warm Bodies hitting number one at the US box office and his new topless (and, er, pants-less) Funny or Die sketch provoking weak knees everywhere, Dave Franco is on a roll. In this exclusive behind-the-scenes video of his Wonderland cover shoot, he gets a little overfamiliar with a dog, kills a couple of flowers and gets told off for looking a little “tense”. Hey, if you looked this good, you’d be tense all the time too.

For more information on our story with Dave, click here. The Babes Issue is out now.

This February, Wonderland is all about celebrating the babe. We’ve got hot new faces Dave Franco and Juno Temple pulling double duty on our covers, a crush-worthy host of rock chicks in Saint Laurent Paris (holla, Caroline Polachek from Chairlift) and the latest fashion shot on the hottest boys and girls in town.

To celebrate, Wonderland filmmaker Ozzie Pullin shot two of London’s perkiest cheer squads to do a little high-kick ‘n’ dance for this issue. Pick up the latest Wonderland this Thursday to see our fashion editorial with them – scrunchies and pom poms not included. Remember, the Republic of Babeland isn’t a democracy – it’s a cheer-ocracy.

The Babes issue comes out on Saturday 9 February. Find out more about the issue here.To subscribe, go to magazinecafe.co.uk.

With seven films coming out in 2013, BAFTA Rising Star nominee Juno Temple is unstoppable – and she’s also the cover girl for our Feb/March issue.

Juno Temple on Wonderland cover

Given that our issue is all about celebrating and reinventing the ‘babe’ in popular culture, it’s not surprise that we’ve gone for a left-field stunner for our cover girl. Juno Temple isn’t your average screen siren. Instead, the English beauty specialises in brave, bold roles: from the deceitful Lola in Antonement to the naive Dottie in Killer Joe, who’s deflowered by Matthew McConaughey’s psycho killer.

Photographed by Michael Hauptman, Temple wears Dolce & Gabbana. The new issue hits stands on Monday 11 February – stay tuned this week for exclusive pictures from our shoot.

This year, Temple’s appearing in no less than seven films, including the eagerly-anticipated Lovelace with Amanda Seyfried and Magic Magic with Michael Cera – and don’t forget the not-so-small matter of her BAFTA nom for Rising Star (voting closes on the 8th).

“The fucking joy of great acting is that you forget who you’re watching and just become engrossed in the character,” she tells us. “I hope that happens with me, sometimes.” Somehow, we don’t think that’s going to be a problem.
