JUNO TEMPLE IS WONDERLAND’S FEB/MARCH COVER GIRL

With seven films coming out in 2013, BAFTA Rising Star nominee Juno Temple is unstoppable – and she’s also the cover girl for our Feb/March issue.

Given that our issue is all about celebrating and reinventing the ‘babe’ in popular culture, it’s not surprise that we’ve gone for a left-field stunner for our cover girl. Juno Temple isn’t your average screen siren. Instead, the English beauty specialises in brave, bold roles: from the deceitful Lola in Antonement to the naive Dottie in Killer Joe, who’s deflowered by Matthew McConaughey’s psycho killer.

Photographed by Michael Hauptman, Temple wears Dolce & Gabbana. The new issue hits stands on Monday 11 February – stay tuned this week for exclusive pictures from our shoot.

This year, Temple’s appearing in no less than seven films, including the eagerly-anticipated Lovelace with Amanda Seyfried and Magic Magic with Michael Cera – and don’t forget the not-so-small matter of her BAFTA nom for Rising Star (voting closes on the 8th).

“The fucking joy of great acting is that you forget who you’re watching and just become engrossed in the character,” she tells us. “I hope that happens with me, sometimes.” Somehow, we don’t think that’s going to be a problem.
