How did a kid from Bordeaux end up listening to Californian punk?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ahaha, what&#8217;s a kid from Bordeaux supposed to listen to? I grew up listening to so many different genres, first by phases, discovering each and then all together indiscriminately. Internet and peer-to-peer sharing helped a lot to provide music that wasn&#8217;t reachable in my local record store in Bordeaux.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s the one reliable floor-filler you can always rely on?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kikumoto Allstars &#8211; I&#8217;ll Make You Jack.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would you be doing if you weren&#8217;t in music now?<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>I have actually no idea&#8230; pretty sure still studying? I didn&#8217;t have the best grades in class, but always loved to go to school and learn stuff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why the name Strip Steve?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It comes from a Garbage Pail Kids card a friend gave me one day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are your biggest influences?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chicago house, funk, disco, experimental pop music, futuristic sounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Berlin is probably the most happening place to be in Europe right now. What&#8217;s your favourite place in the city that people might not know about?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My studio. It&#8217;s small, packed, filthy, and full of fun.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would be your dream club to play in?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maybe in the Virgin Galactic flight? I heard they will hire DJs for those&#8230; It sounds a bit unrealistic, ahaha!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Describe Micro Mega in five words. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Full, chill, hyper, micro, mega. But you can stream it right here i heard, so make your own idea of it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s the worst gig you&#8217;ve ever played?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Boise, USA. A very very small town, where my music absolutely unknown. Me and my friends did a DJ set there in a concert venue, around 8 pm.
