Forgive us for stereotypes, but usually the Scandinavian offerings are jingling indie outfits\u00a0or neat and tidy electronic packages. Perhaps that all makes sense though when you realise the four members of the band came from different genre backgrounds previously. Combined they produce a fuzzed-up, roaring blare on &#8220;Nothing Can Die In Ashes&#8221;, taken from their forthcoming EP, <em>Anchors &amp; Weights<\/em>. When it dissipates, the bass lines are seductively slow and lead singer Jessica&#8217;s snarling vocals holler out, slicing through the blare. It&#8217;s psych sure, but different to the smooth Tame Impala clones that are surfacing every day. Imagine Tame Impala had a sex change, had a couple of drinks, got a bit aggy and smashed some guitars and you&#8217;re there. Doesn&#8217;t that sound like a good rock show?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8220;Nothing Can Die In Ashes&#8221; follows the release of their debut 7\u201d, the double side with deliciously dark names, \u201dInto The Dirt&#8221; and &#8220;Voodoo Ritual\u201d. After appearing on tour with NYC&#8217;s White Hills last year and a slot at Malmo Psych Fest, here&#8217;s hoping The Presolar Sands can head to the UK soon. We&#8217;re holding lighters in the air ready to sway through the distortion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2016\/02\/PS-Image-3.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-63885\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2016\/02\/PS-Image-3-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"PS Image 3\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>Anchors &amp;
