The passing of a music and fashion icon coincided with the last day of LC: M and as a tribute some final additions were added to the show \u2013 such as the delicate application of glitter on the models\u2019 cheekbones. Even more moving was Hayett McCarthy\u2019s opened palms revealing the word &#8220;BOWIE&#8221; spread across both hands \u2013 no song could be more pertinent than his hit &#8220;Changes&#8221;, played before the show began.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Brrrberry<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It just wouldn\u2019t be the Burberry we know and love if we could wrap ourselves up in it, with coats and jackets galore. At first the link between items didn\u2019t seem to be a relevant one (not forgetting the rare flash of <i>that <\/i>iconic Burberry print in all variations) but of course vintage, in all its forms and finery, was the true backbone. Burberry did what it does best in presenting pieces that are truly timeless, a thick woollen coat in particular &#8211; shiny brass buttons, red trimmings and thick, wide, loose collars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Running Track<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Under all this outerwear, and occasional left uncovered, seemed to be the collections\u2019 staple piece \u2013 the retro zip-up sports top. Neutralizing the Burberry print and acting as the perfect milieu to each layered item. These nylon tops were one half of the perfect partnership, paired with simple black sports trainers allowing mossy green coats and beautiful cavalry trousers to catch our eye.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ARC0579.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-63180\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ARC0579-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"_ARC0579\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ARC0845.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-63192\"
