After that, there was a short lived time as a plagiarising graphic novelist and, for the past couple of years, he\u2019s been a strange kind of semi-controversial performance artist.<\/p>\n<p>These performances began, of course, with that paper-bag stunt back in 2014 at the <em>Nymphomaniac <\/em>premiere (\u201cI AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE\u201d). Most recently, his endlessly memed #ALLMYMOVIES project saw him watching all 72-hours of his own films\u00a0surrounded by adoring members of the public. The results were, as we already know, hilarious, as Shia grimaced and laughed through his entire oeuvre \u2013 warts (AKA every <em>Transformers <\/em>ever) and all.<\/p>\n<p>Now he\u2019s back with a new performance piece called #TOUCHMYSOUL which allows for an even greater level of public interaction than #ALLMYMOVIES. It basically involves Shia and two collaborators (Nastja S\u00e4de R\u00f6nkk\u00f6 and Luke Turner) sitting in Liverpool\u2019s Fact Gallery and taking calls from the public as the whole thing is live <a href=\"http:\/\/www.touchmysoul.net\/\">streamed<\/a>.
