<\/a><\/p>\nSome artists need to immerse themselves in a world – physically,\u00a0intellectually and\u00a0creatively – in order to deliver their finest work. Nobody understands this better than atmospheric beat producer\u00a0Sin\u00e9\u00a0Buyuka, who has just uprooted from the golden Mediterranean coast\u00a0to the UK, “I tried to capture the sound of a rainy autumn” she says, “which is basically the soundtrack of London”.<\/p>\n
Sin\u00e9 works under the moniker Villette to release\u00a0a never-ending stream of sophisticated techno and house – every time we check out her\u00a0social-media there is a new remix for us to digest. This girl is as relentless as her kickdrums, having just completed an MA at King’s College, as well as a\u00a0first\u00a0EP and single-handedly started a record label (Injazero Records), which has just seen it’s second release. Villette is a person who makes things happen wherever she goes.<\/p>\n
Crossed Wires<\/em>\u00a0is a\u00a06 track debut of rich and dark electronica. “I was in a dark place whilst writing it” she tells us. “I wanted the music to reflect my mood at the time”. Ahead of her EP launch, we were lucky enough to catch\u00a0a free moment\u00a0with Sin\u00e9, who chatted\u00a0to us\u00a0about the Turkish techno scene, creative identity and\u00a0being a woman in the music business.<\/p>\n
