Last year alone, its founders produced\u00a0a short film and sound installation, &#8220;A Portrait of Marina Abramovic&#8221;;\u00a0created a public art event\u00a0in New York&#8217;s iconic Chrysler Building; continued an ongoing video series about couture for <em>Refinery29,\u00a0<\/em>and are now due to release a coffee-table tome with Rizzoli next year: it all makes you feel a bit lazy doesn&#8217;t it? Well, not content with shaking up multi-media publishing for the past 20 years, they&#8217;ve now asked\u00a036 of the world&#8217;s most sought-after contemporary artists to produce images for newest edition,\u00a0<em>Visionaire FREE.<\/em><br \/>\nUnsurprisingly given its name, the publication\u00a0(which takes the form of large-scale printed posters) will be given away for free at public art installations in three cities across America: Miami, NYC, and LA. Beginning with Miami, artists as diverse as Miley Cyrus, Daniel Askill, Matthew Stone and David Salle have contributed work to the edition after being asked questions like, &#8220;what do they want to say to the public?&#8221; and &#8220;how do they want to open minds through visual engagements?&#8221; It&#8217;s a pretty original and fantastic way for\u00a0<em>Visionaire\u00a0<\/em>and these artists to allow the public to enjoy and engage with their art and, most of all, it has us <em>really <\/em>wishing we lived in one of those great cities &#8211; or, at the very least, could visit.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you&#8217;re lucky enough to be in Miami between the 3rd-6th December, head over to the Faena Art Beach at 34th Street and pick up your posters for free.<a
