{"id":60099,"date":"2015-11-05T16:30:23","date_gmt":"2015-11-05T16:30:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wonderlandmagazine.com\/?p=60099"},"modified":"2017-03-01T15:43:19","modified_gmt":"2017-03-01T15:43:19","slug":"premiere-salute-diamond","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wonderlandmagazine.com\/2015\/11\/05\/premiere-salute-diamond\/","title":{"rendered":"Premiere:  salute &#8211; &#8216;Diamond (Gold Rush)&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We premiere another beautifully orchestrated\u00a0track from Vienna-by-way-of-Brighton producer, salute.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/saluteaut\/diamond-gold-rush<\/p>\n<p>When we spoke to next-hot-thing producer, salute, back in <a href=\"\/2015\/09\/preview-salute\/\">September<\/a>\u00a0about his hometown, Vienna, and his love of the UK music scene, he revealed\u00a0how he began making his own instrumentals: \u201cI was 14 and basically just making music in a living room on my parents\u2019 computer and dabbling around not really having a clue about what I was doing.\u201d Fast forward from those inauspicious beginnings, and it\u2019s definitely safe to say that salute has more than a little bit of a clue what he\u2019s doing now.<\/p>\n<p>We loved some of his recent tracks, like the fiendishly moreish \u201cCastle (Magic)\u201d and the high-end electronic production of \u201cVXV (Way You Do)\u201d. Now, he has another EP, <em>Gold Rush<\/em>, coming out next week which we can\u2019t wait to hear. Until then, we will content ourselves with premiering his latest song, \u201cDiamond (Gold Rush)\u201d, which is every bit as lush and sharp as its title suggests: it layers sultry, pop-ready vocals over an underground synth-scape to gorgeously genre-blurring effect. So, do as we have done, and stick it on repeat until the EP drops, all the while remembering that this guy\u2019s only 19\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Salute_PressShot_GoldRushEP_Landscape.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-60114\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Salute_PressShot_GoldRushEP_Landscape-1024x731.jpg\" alt=\"Salute_PressShot_GoldRushEP_Landscape\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Gold Rush&#8221;
