I think I lived in 16 different houses growing up, everywhere from Elvis\u2019s old bachelor pad, to living across the street from the old Tate House on Cielo [where the Charles Manson \u201cfamily\u201d committed the Tate murders in 1969]. I became really obsessed with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Blogger, model, actress, activist, creative director and some-time DJ. We\u2019ve heard it\u00a0all before, mainly via LinkedIn. But ahead of slapping an \u201ceverything and nothing\u201d label\u00a0on LA-raised polymath Hailey Gates\u2019 brow,\u00a0it\u2019s worth taking a closer look at her CV. After graduating from NYU in 2012, the playwright and actress worked full-time as an editor at <em>The Paris Review<\/em> while writing and co-producing\u00a0a docudrama about a trip to Mars with artist Tom Sachs called <em>A Space Programme<\/em>. She used up her summer vacation to film scenes for Jonathan Demme\u2019s August release Ricki and the Flash, and starred alongside various other Hollyweird luminaries in Miu Miu\u2019s much-shared fall campaign. Between filming for TNT\u2019s new show <em>Public Morals<\/em>, and travelling the world investigating women\u2019s rights for a Vice documentary series, Gates\u2019s wall planner is certifiably
