Markus Lupfer is extremely well-known for his love of embellishment and his fun approach to design has made him the top go-to designer for fashion statement pieces. His innovative use of print, embroidery, and graphics has given him amazing collab opportunities and a seriously eccentric wardrobe. His experimental approach is thus heavily felt in his new collection with champions desert flower embroidery, polygons and hexagons, and some seriously statement slip-ons. Spring\/Summer 16 has never felt so right.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mexicana<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The theme for this season&#8217;s collection was Mexicana. The fertile soils of Mexico were given a new oomph factor when the models for SS16 stepped onto new land for the presentation. We didn&#8217;t manage to find the pi\u00f1ata nor were we asked to join into a saucy season of fiesta-time but we did take note of the tone of the event: enchilada time. No the models didn&#8217;t don fake moustaches and not one sombrero was in sight &#8211; instead there was a multiplicity of luchador prints and designs that resembled the natural patterns of sultry desert sands. It was a blooming desert in which everything seemed to<em> pop<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The small details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the intricate craftsmanship qualities within Markus Lupfer that call for close attention to the accessories in his collection. Florals were given some unexpected twists as they entangled the necks of models in the form of chokers and layered some sandals in a beautifully divine way. The everyday basics were upgraded once again and made wearable clothing a little bit more special. I mean, who doesn&#8217;t want to rock a pair of oversized glasses that scream Mexican wrestler?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Z81A0542.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-56716\" alt=\"Z81A0542\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Z81A0542-1024x682.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a
