<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Wolfe grew up listening to her fathers country band and listening to Fleetwood Mac taught her a thing or two about harmonies. About to release her fifth groundbreaking album, the American singer-songwriter is still doing what she does best. That being, dark, heavy, metal-folk and all kinds of deep. The album, Abyss, still features multi-instrumentalist co-writer Ben Chisholm and Dylan Fujioka on the drums but this time Wolfe delves digs deep into her pocket and introduces us to her most intimate side yet.<\/p>\n<p>From first glance this video could be a scene from<em> The Craft<\/em>, hypnotic and emotional, it’s Chelsea Wolfe doing her distinctive thing. “Carrion Flowers” is dramatic in an understated way, with inspiration for the video coming from the California drought and pent up frustration for the environment and communities that were destroyed.
