Ahead of the release of his debut EP, up-coming lo-fi artist Billionaire premieres his first release “Fine Minds”, today on Wonderland. A Londoner himself, Billionaire’s sound is minimal, moody and mysterious. Whilst his lyrics conjure thoughts of contradictions, irony and blunt honesty (along with his music name of choice), “Fine Minds” is the first single from his EP of the same name. Taking inspiration from the 1995 Allen Ginsberg poem, “Howl”, it’s clear there is more to Billionaire than meets the eye whilst he croons the lyrics: “Wrong time and the wrong place”, “Can I get justification?”.

So what can we expect? A series of endearing tracks that explore the new self-destructive blank generation, over washed-out lo-fi instrumentals. Go traveling, get a tribal tattoo, put off responsibility. When it comes to his sound – think melodic guitar rhythms, dark string notes, electric beats and dance inspired drums, each giving an explicit insight into Billionaire’s world.
