In this sense, they are never at home in the present moment. But precisely through this disconnection and this anachronism, they are more capable than others of perceiving and grasping their own time. Contemporariness, then, is that relationship with time that adheres to it through a disconnection.\u201d\u00a0 (G. Agamben)<\/p>\n<p>Said to explore the world through disconnection, Alessandro Michele&#8217;s Gucci debut saw the realms of past and present merge to form one fluid entity. Whilst tops came sheer and see through, skirts came mid-length in pleated leather and dresses came layered and frilled, necks trimmed with ruby fur.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attention to Detail<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rather than going radical, Michele spoke a language rooted in subtlety. Gucci loafers came lined with fur, clogs came in pony-skin and heels were laced up the lower-calf, with each length of leather finished with a fur pom-pom, that bobbed playfully around the foot of each model as they walked.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dreaming of&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The olive green leather suit, worn over the duck-egg blue pussy-bow blouse. Smart, sophisticated and entirely unique, this leather tailoring defies the existing boundaries of formalwear. Having chosen to subvert the familiar, the fashion world awaits Michele&#8217;s next move with bated breath.<\/p>\n<p ><a
