Coach SS15 launch their cool Americana SS15 campaign shot by Stephen Meisel.

Stuart Vevers presents a mash up of London chic and American cool for the SS15 Coach campaign. Vevers’ designs are inspired by American iconography and youth – mini skirts, leopard prints, pearl chokers and flares are dominant throughout the collection, with a mix of retro bold colours and gentle pastels. Clogs and chunky sliders are the new unexpected shoes of the season, paired with scruffy cartoon characters on fluffy jumpers and studded leather handbags. Vevers’ Coach appeals to a new generation, who are more experimental in their tastes and choices.

Shot by Stephen Meisel, the campaign imagery is quite literally, too cool for school. Layered over New York backdrops, soft hues and pinky tones create cinematic scenes – think Juno meets Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Miesel has created the formidable cool girl tribe that you desperately want to be in; with the likes of Binx Walton and up and coming models Julia Bergshoeff, Grace Hartzel and Dylan Xue taking centre stage.

The film that accompanies the campaign is set in autumnal suburbia, in which the cool girls strut, and give fierce glances out of rainy car windows. Dreamy and sublime, who would expect anything less from New Yorks’ creative elite; Karl Templer. Tonight we’re sure to dream about Coach.
